Our aim is to educate the world about Africa's great past and future through research and scholarship.

We are all aware of the financial struggles African students go through in colleges and universities around the globe and also, the lack of respect they receive due to poor representation of Africa in the media and in books.

The goal of this research contest program is to encourage African students to do research in their field of study that will promote Africa and shine a light of hope on her.  The best research papers will be published on this site for all to read and the winners will receive a financial reward towards their education.

We hope to have sponsorship from corporations and individuals, so that we can give out more scholarships in the future.  This year (2007), we will give out $250.00 to each of our two winners.
