It wont call you by your name
No, not by the name you were given
It calls you by another name
A word
You have not heard it before
Yet you'll know it is you
"Will you come under the palm tree
Beside the cemetery?"
You know no palm tree behind the cemetery
No you don't.
Yet you'll go.
Perhaps a revelation awaits you
Or have they discovered the unspoken truth?
Or the sounds that will conjure
They perhaps have found the lost coin.
You went after it
It stood there still, beneath the palm tree
And spoke a word. DEATH...The call of DEATH
