Hey ehi this is a cool web site it brings back the good old days at staff school..I am surprised that you did not mention me as one of your class mates...But this the best thing that anyone has thought about since we all left nigeria.....
Hello Ehi. You are so gorgous my Brotha. Maia wasn't kidding when she said how handsome and sophisticated you were. Got any Brothers???
Are you related to Dr Victor Aimiuwu who was at Kent State Univ. in the 70s? If you are the son that was born to him in 1973,perhaps I was at your naming ceremony. How are you and where are your parents now?
Have a great day and please stay blessed.
Tunji
Great job on the website, it brings back memories of staff school and FGGC Benin...
Hi, My name is Irese and I will like you to know that I really appreciate this web site. As an Edo girl I was starting to wonder when someone would do something like this. I will like to thank you on behalf of every Edo person. You did a great Job. I had thought about doning something that is Edo specific and this is it. I will like to hear from you, to see if you have the same passion as I do about Edo people. I am a programmer at Alliance Capital Management. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks againg Irese.
creative site, good picture. I too am a grad student at kent. I have seen you in the library or somewhere on campus. Next time I see you I will call you by name and watch the surprise on your face. (smile) God Speed on your goals in life. It looks like you are planning great things in your life. keRita
I am very proud of what you have done for your Alma Maters and Edo People. At a time when our people in USA are locked in either a battle of survival or a pursuit of "almighty dollar", it is very refreshing that you have created this Web Site to link people up as well as offer them the opportunity to remember or know their ancestrial roots. Keep the flag flying very high. Victor O. Aimiuwu, Ph. D.
good
Just good to see that staff school is present.

Excellent page, I am pleased to know your page and wish you the best on your work. Keep it UP!
Kudos to you on setting up a distinctly Bini cyber pad. Those with the initiative and the drive to actually do things number in the minority. Stellar job and keep up the good work.

I gave you a 10 on your ratings, 'cuase i'm a computer science student at the UNVERSITY OF MARYLAND EASTERN SHORE, and i know how much time and energy it takes to construct a Web Page...So Keep up the Good Work. Unfortunately i couldn't make it to the Re-union in Houston, but definately count on me Next Year!!
Take Care Ekpen Izore..(WASHINGTON D.C)

Hi Aristo, whatz going on? Just wanted to tell you that your site is pretty great. I love all the information it provides, it's quite a classy webpage. Thanks for posting the reunion pictures, but you still have more pix of me, so can you at least post them especially my personal or can you mail them to me. Thanks anyway, and continue on your special works. By the way, I forgot to tell you that you're quite a nice guy, a gentleman to be specific. Take care.
Cannot rate site. Did not navigate well enough. Perhaps next visit.
I think your site is very cool though, i know it is not easy to create a website. keep the flag flying and i was a pupil of staff school.
The website alone is overwhelming, let alone the all the outstanding publications. I feel so motivated that infact this weekend, I and my friends are going to siddon and discuss from 6-to-6, on how to do sth positive- not just on our hometown or country in particular, but for africa in general. Osa fian ba we, OBA GHA TOKPERE, ISE!!!!!!!! ovie uniben.

Dear Ehi, Long time no see. It's me, Ewaen. Imu gave me your WebSite. And I'm very much impressed by your work. The only "snag" you have is this "character only stuff in your "name" field....Don't get me wrong, I know what it takes to design a web page, as I am currently studying that right now on the web...I see : no spaces eh..I get it now. I was in the 3rd set of UDSS and left in 1989, I was a member of the Usman Dan-Fodio house :and that is one school I will never forget, not even my University years can compare. UDSS WAS NOT JUST BAM, IT WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD.. ...(AS AT THEN ANYWAY) I'm working with an internet service providing company here in Lagos. Remember, I read Electrical and Electronic Engineering back in Uniben, but I served in a Computer firm last year here in Lagos and as you can "see", I fell in love with the internet.
Write me. Engr. Ewaen Ogbeide
Great job on the information provided.
THIS IS AN EXCELLENT WEB PAGE. . I WENT TO USS , AND I ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE I SPENT THERE. SOMETIMES I WISH I COULD GO BACK ( JUST KIDDING). ANYWAY, KEEP IT UP . GREATTTT JOB.
Are you from Esan or Benin. I was just curious. I noticed that you are also concentrating on Information system. I'm currently studying that at the University of Texas at Arlington. Are you living in Kensas as of now? Tell me more about yourself. By the way, your website is pretty cool
Regards Dnic
Hi Ehi, It is quite nice to see Nigerians putting up websites like these, but I think with the java experience that you have, you could have done better. It seems to me that you have one page on your website that has links to six or seven other websites and not pages. The background is nice and all and of course you look nice in your picture. I just think you could have done better. I'm not hating, don't take this personal, I'm just being truthful. Peace, Nogie.

This is an interesting site. My suggest is that all interested parties, (non-edos) should be allowed to visit the site as well.
VERY GOOD SITE. I AM MOST IMPRESSED. I ATTENDED STAFF SCHOOL FROM 1978-1983 AND THEN FGGC BENIN FROM 1983-1989 AND I WAS VERY SURPRISED AND HAPPY TO SEE THAT UNIBEN STAFF SCHOOLHAS A WEB PAGE
Nice site and you know i have to give you a 11 for hardwork, patience and vision. I am not a programmer or web designer, but i know putting a website together ain't no joke especially, when you aren't getting paid for it.
Keep up the good work.
where are you girl

How come u no say anything about ur martial status now. Abi u dey hide am. U look good though Broda more power to u. Good luck
I think the concept of your website is great, but you could use more pictures of other alumni, and links such as history of the school, reunions (if applicable), and maybe a year book listing addresses and names of graduants. Nevertheless I do understand that the availability of the information or materials may be out of reach to you. But anyway, it's not a bad site, pretty good. It brought back memories, and thanks for that. If you need help with it, let me know.

your site is wonderful. it brought back memories of old days. i was also in udss & in your set. lets try to keep in touch.
Great job Ehi, Even though I never met you in person, it certainly would have been a pleasure. I'm glad to have finally caught up with my cousin OSAMEDE, thanks to your site...I'll keep spreading the word about this great site. I went to USS and UDSS in the 80's. All my old buddies from Benin get in touch with me. Peace Henry Osaghae
Out of all the nice Nigerian men in these pictures and at all these events, why can't I find one of the ones who haven't been Americanized and really appreciate a beautiful Nigerian woman?
Why can't I find a good Nigerian man?
Keep up the good work.
It is imperative to have our heritage online thus enabling our people to keep a sense of identity even when away fom home.
This is a very nice site and I have some pictures of UDOSites(Uniben Demonstration Secon. Old Students)in the States. In Jersey, New York, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Michigan, Ohio etc. A whole bunch of them This is a very educational site. It saved my butt for my 'Things Fall Apart' review. Keep up the good work.
Hey.....what's up! How everything w/you? Hope fine! Anyway, your site isn't that bad, but you should've made the background a brighter color. I know you love wildlife, but the forest green background made it too dark. Infact, your viewers have to strain their eyes to read your autobiography. Moreover, your picture #7 look too fierce & serious. They should be some smile, enthusiasm, zeal etc. Also, the pictures would've been better in colored, rather than black&white. Its a lot nicer having everything consistent, rather than having part color & part b&w.

Great job on your website. Very insightful and it makes one proud to be Edo. Do keep up the good work. The pictures were also beautiful. Keep representing as always...
Edujie Imonitie Imoisili
I think your site is very interesting and informative. It is definitely patriotic! I would also like to suggest perhaps introducing a chat room where fellow Edos can chat or get to know one another, otherwise this site gets my stamp of approval as one of the best nigerian sites yet! Keep up the good work!
Very nice, my two children will appreciate their Edo heritage as can show them their Edo and African American history.
Thanks.
this is a nice page. like your pics.

O'boy, you try no be small. Long time. You go remember me so? Once you remember 'dayo, you don remember me be dat. I'm short of words. Your site brings back fond memories of my days in Benin. Keep up the good work and congrats.
Outstanding web site!! I am an alumnus of UDSS. If anyone out there from the class of '89 remembers me. Give me a holler at the above email address. Once again, Outstanding!! Ozovese Akerele (Ovesi)
What's up ya'll? It's doctor. O hollering all the way from London, Uk. I was just surfing the net in search of anything to cheer me up and I come jam this site. It's really nice to see all those uniben and udss pictures, and that uniforn too. Ehi, its a wicked site you have here, but you seem to be focusing on yourself. I know say you love yourself and I no blame you, but we need to see and hear of others like Mr Opene, Mrs Idah, and even your juniors like myself. I too attended uss and udss. It was nice seeing the names of Faith, salvation, revelation and the rest of ya'll. Nice job Ehi, keep it up because you're heading places (if you never reach there)... Osasu Asemota.
Ps: If anybody see my niggas, Uyi Idah, Omoruyi(s) Bailey and Evbuomwan, even that yeye Micheal Iyoha tell them Osasu said wasssuuuup????
Very good site which I will re-visit. I hope that anyone in Nigeria who knows me will email me ... I am trying to contact Valentine Okotete thanks. Roger
Your bio can use some editing. Interest in big cats is vague and needs more info. Send me a note and we can discuss. I was in the University of Benin when you were in the staff school. That was a long time ago. Your efforts are commendable. Keep up the hard work.
Ken
Remember me?.
REALLY LIKED NICE PHOTO'S....
Ehi, remember me?.
As I stated earlier, I think that the names of people should be posted nect to thier respective pictures. I believe it would facilitate recall and assist alumni in identifying classmates.
Thanks
keep it up. My ancestors are from Edo. Great job. What is the web adress or phone for Agbor Girls'Grammar School, Agbor? Does anyone know?
How una de now?REMEMBER ME?I was your PUNCTUALITY PREFECT at UDSS IN THE CLASS OF '89.ALSO ATTENDED USS. GOOD TO KNOW THAT you all are doing o.k MEMORIES EH!
How did u create the web site. Did you use HTML tags. I'm learning how to create web page. I think it's too hard. Can you coach me and tell me what to do or can you teach me how to create web pages. I'm from Benin City. Do u leave in the U.S.
Kóyo! Vbèè óye hé?
Thank you for this homepage! I'm very happy that I found it today! Since longer time I've been looking for informations about the Edo-region and Benin but I was not very successful. I am a german woman married to a Bini and I am very interested in everything concerning the culture of my husband and his family. Now I found a lot of "nutrition for my courious mind". You can be sure I will be one of the busiest visitors in the next time...
Three years ago I have been to Benin to marry my sweetheart. This was a very exciting time for me! I met so many kind people and got in close touch with the african way of living. Since this time I've got the africa-feever! There is so much happyness! Somestimes I'm feeling homesick to Africa- the continent of sunshine, love and joy!
so, thank you again- and ób'ówa- òkhien òwie!
Martina
Here I am again. Sorry, in my comment of the 2/2/2001 I was too much dreaming of Benin. I forgot the main point- comment to your web sites: They are very good- especially the esthetic background! And your sites are an important contribution to keep your culture alive and bring african culture to the world! Best whishes from your new costumer- Martina
I just want to tell you guys of how i enjoy looking atsomrthing from nigeria and if i see this sight every time it shows me how my country look like

Hey Ehi this is cool, don't hurt yourself down there in Atlanta with the "honies" I saw your brother the other day in the Student Center, also Nekpen stopped by my office and left a "hello". I'll have to let everyone in the KSU SFA office know what you're up to...they've been wondering since you don't stop by anymore..Take care and God Bless!!!
Rather iteresting site, good to read and see folks from ny former secondary school back home, although some of the caption for the photos can to with a bit of grammar correction, it still brought a smile to my face.
I think there is loads of scope for development, perhaps introducing a chat room where folks can chat online to other edo indigins.
I love your new stuff. The picture for the class of '92 is a nice touch. I also like the staff school stuff with the different songs and stuff.
I have pictures of people like Tobenna Nwodika '92, Myself '93, Rita Ovienria '93, Linda(omosuzi) '93, Emmanuel Offiong '93, Prisilla Omoifo '93, Eromisila(wrong spelling) '93, etc
Love ur site, do check out mine at Http://www.geocities.com/locose/okiks.htm and don't forget to sign my guestbook
Keep it up. You have done a nice job.

Hi, this is beatiful, i spread your word to everyone i can reach. easy.
I think that you have done a great jod with this site. It gives every single african some pride to see pages like this one, not just us Edo people. I would also like to say that I was very taken by histoy section that you had, and I would like to know how I can take part in some of the discussions instead of just reading them.

Well, i did not see a web page neither was I directed there but is this the same Gabriel Obadan that lived at Ibadan with the mom and sisters? and there Father used to be a minister at a 'cele' church though now passed away? Just curious to see if this is a lost but found cousin

I think you really did a nice job on this. And thanks for keeping the Edo thing going abroad.I left U.D.S.S. in 1997 and I'm currently Schooling in Canada. Much love from Canada.
2 thumbs up!
blahblahblahblahlblalbalbalbalbalblablabalb
suck me big black ass!
This is not a bad site! I was among the first set of students at UDSS(The first Games Prefect I might add!) & it is good to see that my old school has a good website.
You can only do better. Well Done!
I urge all Edo state People to support the Biafra Movement. We have been bullied left, rigth and centre by the Housa/Yoruba leading click.
It is time we the Edos stand firm behind Biafra. Our people are sufering back home, our young girls are being sold as prostitutes, there is hardly any federal gov. initiatives in our state. Our Oba is not treated with the same respect as the Yoroba obas, and the northern Emires.
Those who want to support Biafra can Log on to wwwbiafraland.com and offer thier support as an Edo man or Woman. Remember we are too small to be a republic. But in a Biafra Republic we will be biger. Thanks. CHARLES OHIKHUARE. B.S.A (Bendel-Biafran Science Academy)

To my peeps round the globe, where ya'll at? Yeah...I went underground for while, taking care of business but I met up with some Edofolks at a gig in London and it was all good,(reminising about the good all days) UDSS Sept 86/ Nov 89. The tears:( the laughter:) and we can't forget those wild parties!!! With all seriousness, everyone's wiser now, with newer responsibilities and very impressive attitudes towards turning points in their personal revolutions. Here's wishing the very best in all your human endeavours round the world and making us proud of calling Nigeria my home...Keep it real...P.S. Ehi,...nuff respect. The website is an excellent start.
Ooops! Forgot to post my correct e-mail address.
This website is very good, looking through the names I have been able to contact some people that became faint memories. It is good for all of us from different walks of life in different and in different countries to keep in touch. I will pass this information round so that other ex-udss and staff school students can take a look. I Ehi thanks for this and say hello to imudiase. Cheers francis
This is quite impressive, it is good we have this as some dedication to our country and state of origin. It is fascinating to see a picture of UDSS.I have used this as a way to contact some friends that I had lost touch with. Ehi keep up the good work and say hello to Imudiase. Cheers Francis
GREAT IDEA!!! It's about time. Keep up the good work, Ehi!
UDSS,..USS..those were the days!
Regards to all, Erhunse Ogbeide.
Hi Ehi,
I hope you remember me. You've done a very good job developing this site. I'll send it to more people whom I know will be mightily interested and may have alot of contributions too. Keep up the good work. Please send my greetings to your dad, Imudiase, Nekpen and your junior ones. Ikeke
Very interesting site, rich in content. It is good that someone has thought about Benin, UDSS, USS etc and actually done something about it. Ehi keep up the good work and much love to everyone who has any connection with Benin, life is too short to be too busy, lets all keep in touch.
It's a wonderful point of contact!
Brilliant! !Well done, I went to UDSS as well and Imudiase Aimiuwu was my classmate at my final year. Is he your brother? I will tell some other folks here in the UK about this beautiful work.
i really like this site. there is one thing it is lacking though, it is lacking the creation myths of our people. you see, i was searching the internet for information on our creation myths but i did not find any. it would be nice to include it. Don't you think?
Great fun! It's been ages since I heard from Uniben folks. I miss information on what year people that are writing graduated... .
Very good site. I went to USS and UDSS (finished 1988).... I live in Sweden. Hope to get in touch with some of my very good old friends from those days. Take care.
Very cool .
Thanks for raising awareness & givin us back yesterday, even for a few moments. My tour was very refreshing. Nevertheless, What's up with all that content(the text), in black background; Not very sexy at all. Ever considered changing to plain backgroung? That could make for easier reading hence more readership. What do u think?
i think this is a good way of bringing the edo folks together again at sharing each others success also helping us all to build a better future and a better edo state
Great site, a good opportunity for those outside Benin to reflect on home and our heritage.

Fellow USS students!! It's Alex Obaitan living in Delaware. How now it's been a long time!! I'm looking through the thread and I remember Victor Asemota! I remember how he liked to run and pushed me into a brick wall when we were in Primary 3 (the pain was excruciating -so I can't forget)
Aristo much props on the site. I'll stop by again. Anybody rememer Nkechi Nwabasi or Akivomen Agun?
Anybody remember the readers that we used to use in class? There was one particular play called Old Roger. If any of you can remember I played his part when we acted it out for the school. Such a long time ago...God bless you all and peace.

Hey. This is a great web site. I just wanted to know if you are single............hahahaha.
Good memories is the first thing that comes to mind! I attended USS & UDSS (84-89 session) and just wanted to give a big shoutout to long lost friends, everyone that knows me & those who attended these schools during my time. The site and more importantly the idea is brilliant. Good work Ehinwenma. Anyway, we all from USS/UDSS could contribute in making this site even better. By the way, does anyone still remember the feared Mr Osakwue from UDSS???
Peace.
Kenneth Olumese
Hey Ehi! Good job on the web site. So was there a reunion in Houston? I have been Houston for the past 4 yrs and I knew nothing about this reunion! When and where will the next one be? Anyway, I'd like to get in touch with some ex-classmates, Angela Okeh, Anastacia Hugbo, Imuwahen Asemota, Emily Okpaise etc. Anyone know of their whereabouts? Any info would be appreciated!
My previous message left out my info: itohan osayimwese (USS '84-85, UDSS '85-89)
Hi, I just happen to come upon your website in my search to locate my classmates (1981 - 1984) from Immaculate Conception Secondary School, Itak, Itu (Akwa Ibom State). Maybe you might know of someone who went to school there. I too have a BA in Anthropology among other things - loved the classes. Thanks for your help!
really great to see udss on the web!kudos to you for a job well done! it all brings back memories.i think that more pictures and an up date of what's going on in udss at present is needed so that we can think up ways of giving back to the schools and communities that gave us so much. a segment specifically for reunions will be great too! nice to know that you are doing so well my regards to idemudia.cheers j

i heared about the unimely death of our Edo brother Mr. Mike Ibadin. May the Good lord rest his soul and grant the family he left behind the fortitude to bear this great loss. I have been trying to contact his wife, who is my home girl, to give her my condolences but have been quite unsuccessful. I however would like her to know that my prayers are with her and I pray the good lord to watch over her...Everything will be okay Marcelina...love...Omon

What a pleasant insight into the very roots of my origins. Being able to read through virtually the mass of information contained in this web site brought back nostalgic memories of those early days spent in Benin City, norturing my intelectual development and discipline. As I ones wrote in an Essay at the University of Benin - 'Ones Culture encapsulates the very best there is'. Keep up the good work. Philip Orumwense
